The "IKSZQ" Institute was founded with the purpose of:

• • Development and support of scientific research led by doctors of science in various fields on sustainability.
• The product of scientific research is available to policy-makers for the design of sustainability policies and strategies according to the guidelines of the SDG's in the process of the development and implementation of projects.
• Providing expertise, consultancy, training and education to governmental, local, public and non-public institutions for the design and management of sustainable development projects.
• Development of annual sustainability reports of public and private institutions at the central, local and regional level.
• Cooperation with other local, regional and international NGOs in the development of joint projects on the sustainable development.
• The development of annual scientific conferences on the topics of sustainable development, published in "Book Proceedings" with ISBN.
• The annual publication of the for Sustainable Regional Development Scientific Journal - SRDSJ with ISSN.
